Broadcast: Chapter 28 - Man On The Street
"So where are we going now?" Gigi asked, picking and pulling at her tight dress to make sure it fit on her swollen body. Dancing while pregnant was unexpectedly fun but Gigi did not take into account how being big meant more of her would shift around when in motion.
"I don't know," Jaimee sighed, her hips thrust forward so she could waddle. Her pregnant belly led the way as she went down the sidewalk, awkwardly tilting from one side to another as other pregnant women tried to hurry out of her way. They were awfully big too but everyone was like a little pin compared to Jaimee's bowling ball belly.
"We can go anywhere we want," Rachel said.
"Right," Jaimee scoffed, one hand moving to her middle as her mysterious fetuses started to stir.
"Seriously, pick something," Gigi said, her tone souring. "You called me. I figured you had some grand night planned to try and make us friends or whatever. If this is how you act outside of work, I think I might want to get back to throwing shade."

Maximama! Part 2
[preg, BlE, BrE, magic, lac, see desc for more info]
The next morning, Stella woke up with an ill feeling in her stomach. It felt like it had been unreasonably stuffed the night before, but Stella explicitly remembered that she was eating to sate her appetite. Stella's fingers gently pressed into her new pot belly and gave it a rub. While there was a notable layer of cushiony fat, there seemed to be a hard yet tender center.
A similarity came to her mind, but Stella didn’t want to acknowledge it as even a remote possibility. Instead, she called Monica to see how she was feeling.
The ringing of her cell phone roused Monica awake. She gently pried herself out of her sleeping lover’s arms in order to get to her pants, crumpled on the floor. The phone stopped ringing before she could answer it, but she dug it out of her pocket by the time it started ringing again.
“Hey Stel, feeling any better?” Monica asked in a low tone

"So what's this game you were talking about?" Stella asked Monica as she was guided to her friend's living room.
"It's a game I found in my great-grandmother's basement." Monica explained. She placed her hands on top of a cardboard box. "Funny thing is, I tried looking up what it is, but couldn't find any info. So without further ado, I present to you..." Monica flung the box open and pulled something out in one swift motion. "Maximama!"
Stella felt her upper lip scrunch up as she laid her eyes on the game.
It was an average-sized board game, although it seemed more like a box due to its plastic, pastel purple panels. The board itself was simplistically designed: a white background with dozens of squares colored different shades of pastel blue and pink that created a very wavy route for the players' pieces. Crisply engraved on one of the panels was a p

It is that time once more my friends! Gather around the enormous bonfire of projects past, and witness the end of yet another of Captain Webb's now-failed projects!

Unlike in times past, this "story" is in fact an utterly disused prompt- a setup that never got beyond this phase. Now, that's not to say the setup is bad- in a weird way I rather like it still. All the same, the story that would ultimately come of this one would (in all likelihood) be very much the same as "What could possibly go wrong?" which while not a bad thing, didn't really hold my interest.

So, though I can't totally rule out using it "eventually", it is time to toss it out here for the public to see- perhaps even inspire someone to try their hand at the pregnant-expansion genre. The more the merrier I say... and on that, here it is...

Heather walked down the street as the rain fell around her. She was off to one of her favorite shops- a little lower-level store tucked into a basement unit of an old, somewhat run-down brick apartment building. "Kathy's Magic Shop" was a little place that sold herbs, incense, crystals, charms, and all sorts of things for those seeking natural, spiritual, or even somewhat supernatural medicine. Heather was no practicing witch, but her collection of crystals and more unusual remedies was steadily growing.

Heather liked this little shop. The owner, Kathy, was a kindly old woman who was a wealth of stories and wisdom from her early life living across Europe. She sat in an old armchair just inside the door, listening to an old boom-box play chimes and bells for her on old cassette tapes, or meditating quietly in a small side room. The shop was a tiny place, and Heather had only shopped a few times when there were others around. Today she knew she would have the place to herself, and she was glad for that.

As she entered the small shop- its walls and shelves lined with strange relics and unusual charms, she spotted Kathy, wearing a brilliant red dress that flowed about her, but she was gathering something from the top shelf of a nearby shelf.

“Hello my dear!” Kathy called, never turning around. “Come here, I can use your extra height.” she called.

Heather walked up to the shelf, where the old woman's long arms were reaching blindly about on, and reached over her to grab a small wooden box she had been reaching for.

“Thank you my dear!” Kathy said warmly, and she beamed her wrinkled old smile up at Heather. Heather, in return, was careful to make sure she wasn't dripping any of the rain from her jacket onto any of Kathy's stuff.

“This is for you my dear.” Kathy announced, pressing the box into Heathers hands.

“Um...” Heather began, taking the box into her hands. “Um, thank you?” she said. She watched as Kathy made her way over to her chair without a word.

“So, I'm thinking I'd like to try some of that Peruvian...” Heather began, but she was interrupted.

“All that you need is in that box.” Kathy said.

Heather was silent for a moment. This was not the first time Kathy had announced through “psychic” or “mystical” means to have discerned her needs, but it was the first time that she had been given something the moment she stepped in the door.

“Can I ask what it is?” Heather said, looking over the box carefully. The box wasn't every large- about the size of an envelope, and an inch or so deep, made of a pale-colored wood.

“It is what you are looking for.” Kathy announced, matter-of-factly.

“Oh-kay...” Heather said again, looking at Kathy more closely. “But what is it?” she asked.

“It's a very special crystal. It will help you greatly.” Kathy said.

Heather opened the box very carefully to peer inside, and spotted a brilliant red crystal inside the box, glinting from the dim light of the room.

“Not in here. Take it home.” Kathy said, snapping the box shut again in Heather's hands.

“Um... cool?” Heather said, still not sure what to make of this.

“So, how much does this cost...” Heather began, but Kathy cut her off.

“It is for you! No charge. Take it!” Kathy said, gesturing to the door.

“Um... alright then, good to see you then.” Heather said, before Kathy pulled the door open to usher Heather back out into the rain. Evidently her shopping trip was over.

Heather was miffed at this turn of events, but she knew Kathy did act more “strange” from time to time, and she'd just have to go along with it. She had been nice enough to give her a cool looking crystal, so she figured she couldn't complain too much. She continued on home through the rain.

"Alright, we're here." the lead officer said, collecting his hat from his lap, before placing it back on his head. The transport hit the ground with a low thud, and a hiss as it settled into wherever it had landed.

"So where are we Lukas. You've been unusually secretive?" Edgar protested, folding his arms, as he stared down the officer across the small crew bay.

"Someplace where you two can lay low." he said, shaking his head.

"Where though?" Edgar said, narrowing his eyes.

"The less you know, the better." Lukas said, lifting his shoulder restraints, and walking towards the exit ramp at the front of the craft.

"What sort of place is it?" Lisa asked, lifting her shoulder restraints, and following Lukas.

"Somewhere safe. Now, we're going to make sure that the public believes you two were far, far away from Valiant City when all that mayhem went down, so I need you to stay here, and await further instructions. Are we absolutely clear?" Lukas said, turning to give Edgar a scowl.

"We understand sir." Lisa said, saluting.

"I wish there was another way about this, but this is the council's decision." Lukas said, giving Lisa a sad look. "Really, we will miss you and Edgar both until this all blows over." he said.

"How long?" Edgar said, still sulking in his seat.

"That I don't know. The Council is pretty busy these days, and it's doubtful the media will spend too much longer eying up what military elements were involved when the trials for the terrorists gets underway. I want to say again this is no punishment- despite all the damage, you two saved countless lives... but it can't ever come to light or it'll all be for nothing." Lukas said.

"We understand, sir." Lisa said, somberly.

"I'll do what I am able to stay in touch, and I'll speak with the Council about this as soon as I am able to." Lukas said, pulling a lever on the wall, dropping the hydraulic ramp onto a sandy beach. A warm tropical breeze blew into the cabin, whirling around with the scent of salt water and flowering plants.

"Exile. Terrific." Edgar pouted.

"I can think of worse places to be stuck." Lukas said, gesturing outside. Edgar reluctantly lifted his own shoulder restraints, and stood with a huff before proceeding out into the brilliant sun.

"Wow." Lisa said, stepping off the ramp onto the beach.

"I'm not allowed to tell you what planet you're on, but I will say it's far away from any trouble spots." Lukas said, stepping onto the beach with them. "This is an island, about 4 miles long, half mile wide. It's got an automated radar station at the north end, and an automated weather sensor station at the south tip. There's a little service road that connects them, with what's left of an airbase on it. Greg and Matt were kind enough to drop off a pair of those harsh-environment shelters for you just past that ridge so you won't have to stay in whatever's left of the old base." Lukas said with a grin.

"It's beautiful!" Lisa exclaimed. It was true- the brilliant blue water abutted a brilliant white sand beach, leading into a brilliant green forest of almost jungle-like foliage. Had Lukas not mentioned existing facilities, it would have been easy to think this was a wild place.

"Perfect." Edgar groaned. "Hot as hell, no satellite up-links... this is a mistake." he said, turning to Lukas.

"The Council doesn't make mistakes, remember?" Lukas said, rolling his eyes, "...but, in case you weren't satisfied..." Lukas said, before he walked back to the transport. He reached up above where he had been seated in the equipment stowage, and withdrew what appeared to be a large metal ammunition box, which he brought out and handed to Edgar with a grin.

"Don't open it here, Alexa might be watching." Lukas said, glancing up towards the cockpit of the transport above them. Edgar could tell from the weight of it that it wasn't full of bullets.

"I'm sorry about this you two, but look at it this way, it's a nice little vacation, all paid for by the Council." Lukas said.

"Don't leave us here." Edgar warned.

"We'll get you both back to cracking skulls and fighting crime, but until then, have some fun!" Lukas said, climbing back onto the transport, before the ramp began to ascend with a hiss of the hydraulics. "Take it easy for a change will you Ed?" Lukas said, before he disappeared from view. Seconds later, the engines of the landing craft engaged again, and the ship lurched into the air in a gust of wind, before turning, and soaring off into the distance.

Edgar picked up a rock, and threw it after them, though the craft was already racing for the horizon. "This sucks." he reiterated with a scowl.

"Edgar, we have a whole island to ourselves." Lisa said.

"Did you pack your swimsuit?" Edgar asked, a sarcastic edge in his voice.

"Like I need one in a place like this." Lisa said with a wink and a grin.

Edgar popped open the top of the ammunition case, and she leaned over to see what was inside as well. Sitting within were two bottles of some sort of expensive-looking amber colored liquor, and a note they surmised was probably from Katie.

"Well then, I guess we are set to go aren't we?" she said with a smile.

"Huh..." Edgar said, finally cracking a smile as he lifted one of the bottles out of the case. "I guess things could be worse." he said.

=

The duo made their way up the beach and towards the shade of the dense, jungle-like foliage of the island beyond, and it wasn't long until they found the cracked worn concrete track of the service road- densely encroached upon by various shrubs and plant life, but still passable as a footpath.

“This place must be really old.” Lisa said, kicking a loose chunk of concrete to tumble into the underbrush.

“Any idea where we are?” Edgar asked.

“I'd need to see the stars to give you a precise answer, but I'd bet this is Magda 4.” Lisa replied, leading ahead.

“Are we going the right way?” Edgar asked.

“The island isn't that big. We're not going to get lost.” Lisa said with a chuckle, pushing ahead past a bush before she stopped short. “We're here.” she said with a grin.

“Fantastic.” Edgar said sarcastically. “A nice metal box to sit in in this sweltering heat.” he complained.

“I suppose your idea of a nice day is a run through the snow isn't it?” she asked.

“Hey, I grew up on a planet that has never thawed once since the dawn of time. I lived that, it's my thing.” Edgar said, shaking his head.

“Well, come on, maybe if we set you in the air conditioning, you'll feel better.” Lisa said, waving for him to join her, and he slowly marched his way forward, his mind still drawn to the bottles in the case he was carrying.

Edgar pushed past one of the large fern-like plants, and saw that Greg and Matt had used some sort of weapon- a machine gun of some sort, to cut down the foliage in a large circle, before truly just dropping the shelter units off. Edgar expected nothing less from those two. He was pleased to see that the units were the bigger sized ones- boxy shipping containers modified for housing troops in the field. He had spent many uncomfortable nights sleeping on a tiny bunk in one of these with platoons of soldiers, but it appeared they had one unit for each of them- plenty of space for their short stay on the island.

“Alright, lets see what those two idiots left us.” Edgar said, stepping forward.

“Do you care which one you get?” Lisa asked.

“Not really.” Edgar said, making his way towards the unit on the left.

“Well, if mine's got a better bed, you're out of luck.” Lisa said.

“We might share it.” Edgar aid with a wink. “If you could find it in your heart...” he said, turning to face her. She turned to face him with a smile, her hands pressed to her hips, her thumbs looped inside the waistband. She gave him a little wink of her own, before she began making her way to the door of her unit.

“You never know, I could be talked into something like that...” Lisa said, pulling the door open, before vanishing inside her unit. Edgar smiled, looking back down at his cache of liquor and then back at the door of Lisa's unit, before he turned to enter his unit to see what he was in for.

Inside, it was rather spartan- the rows of bunks Edgar remembered were all but removed, save a larger bed towards the end of the unit. A series of supply cases were stacked up in a pile on the opposite side of the unit. He saw the power system at one end of the unit above the bed near the ceiling, with the meters for the water collection system- no doubt saturated in this jungle heat. Back by the all-weather supply totes was the dreaded chemical toilet, a mini-sink just above it, and rather unusually what appeared to be a shower head sticking out of the ceiling with a note attached to it, which Edgar grabbed.

At once, the shower burst on, jerking itself towards him- the note had been attached to it in some sort of makeshift booby trap- spraying Edgar in the face with a blast of warm water! He flailed around for a few moments, before he was able to find the valve and turn it off. He shook his head a bit as water dripped off of him, and he looked down at the soaking wet note- the pen still visible on it.

“Hey! Don't get all washed up on your break!” it read. Matt's writing, most likely, Edgar thought with a scowl. His mind lurched into considerations of how to get back at him as soon as he and Lisa got back to the ship. He stood for a few moments, surveying the room a bit, before he set the ammo case down, turning his attention to his wet clothes.

“Terrific.” Edgar said, pulling his shirt off. Scarred as he was from the many close-calls in his special forces career, he was still terrifically well built. He took off his boots and socks, draping the lot over a lonely conduit running from the water system at the front of the unit to the “shower and commode” at the back, before setting his boots upside down near the bed to dry, seeing as the water from the shower 'prank' was still slowly draining out of the unit through the small drains at the back- some of them probably blocked by the totes. He then made his way barefoot back out of his unit to see what had become of Lisa.

He walked the short ways to where the door to Lisa's unit was, and knocked once before he leaned inside.

“Hey Ed.” Lisa chuckled. He could see at once that her shower had been booby-trapped as well, and she too was soaking wet. “Matt I take it?” she asked.

“I imagine.” Edgar said, rolling his eyes for emphasis.

“We gotta get that guy.” she said.

“We'll have to think of something nasty for sure.” Edgar said. “Do you want to do that now?” he asked.

She looked around the room- her unit was identical to his, save for hers had a somewhat larger sink in it than his. There wasn't much to say about it- aside from a few tactical view-ports along the longer sides, there weren't even any windows to speak of- the whole room lit by the blueish glow of the military LED lights attached in a row in the ceiling. She was even more soaked than he was- while his pants had only been splashed with a little bit of the spray, she had taken it all across the front, and must have turned all the way around when it started spraying on her.

“Well...” she said, trailing off a bit. “I was going to suggest we take a hike to get our bearings around here, but I don't want to do that while I'm all wet.” she said, putting her hands on her hips again.

“You have something else in mind?” Edgar asked.

“Well, we have a beautifully hot day here, the air conditioners on these old boxes will take a good hour to cool them down anyway, and a private beach all to ourselves.” she said.

“I think I follow.” Edgar said.

“Well then, follow me.” she said, walking up to him, then passing him by out of her unit and into the open space between the two units. She glanced around at the canopy- huge leafy trees surrounded the site- though nothing obstructed their view of the sky- the ripped up stumps around them evidence that what trees had been had been thoroughly shredded.

She then unzipped her uniform jacket, before draping it over one of the pointed, shot-up remnants of a stump. She took off her boots, then her socks, placing them on the stump as well. She then pulled off her tank top, revealing she was wearing a purple bra. Seconds later, she undid her belt and Edgar discovered her panties matched.

“Purple underwear. I did not think you were a purple girl Lisa.” Edgar said.

“I'm a lot of things. You would know.” she said with a wink, turning to face him.

“Well, it's not like we dated.” Edgar said, “Not that you minded.” he said.

“Ed, you got drunk and gambled away $26,000 in one night once, all on the state's line of credit. How the secretary didn't kill you for that one, I will never know.” she said, shaking her head with a smile. “You're a nice guy Ed, but not really my type.” she said with a wink.

“Well, I might not be your 'type'...” Edgar said, adding air quotes. “But that didn't stop you either.” he said again.

“You're right. It didn't.” she said, moving her hands behind her back, before she undid her bra from behind, allowing it to fall partly off- exposing her breasts to the elements and Edgar's gaze. “You know me Ed, I'm always up for a little fun...” she said releasing her bra before catching it in one hand to add to her makeshift drying rack on the stump.

“I'll bet you are.” Edgar said.

She pulled the waistband of her panties out away from her hips, and drew them down a bit before releasing them- allowing gravity to pull them down to her feet, where she casually stepped out of them, before she reached down to collect hem to add to her pile of drying clothes. “I could go for a little fun down at the beach. I haven't been swimming in ages- neither have you if memory serves.” she said.

“I don't think Matt packed my wet suit.” Edgar said, undoing his own belt.

“Well then, I guess we're going to have to go down to the beach dressed like Adam and Eve won't we.” Lisa chuckled.

“You know, this might just be fun after-all...” Edgar said, his loosened pants falling somewhat to reveal the waistband of his boxer shorts.

“I sure hope so. I recall the last time we were together like this on Jazebbi Prime, and that was a lot of fun.” she said with a smile.

“That was fun.” Edgar replied, pushing his pants down, revealing his boxers and a rather tall erection.

“I'd say you're about ready to go.” she said, making her way back towards the shrubs at the perimeter of their camp. “So follow along with me...” she said, making her way through the foliage towards the sounds of crashing waves.

“Right behind you.” Edgar replied, and losing his shorts, he was off after her.

Beach 1, Part 1
The start of something new for you all. This is based very heavilly on elements from my 'real' sci-fi writings, though I've changed up all the names, places, and what I believe to be enough terminolgy to keep people from figuring out who (else?) I am. ;)

I had this idea some time ago, based rather heavilly on a film I saw- I'll tell you which one later, as I don't want to spoil the surprise. In the "official" version, it's not 'sexy' at all, so this is wholly rewritten from the original prompt. Aside from the prompt and the characters, no leftovers here. Alas, I fear I've said to much. I'm rather excited about this one, but I don't want to give anything away. More soon! (I mean that.)

As always, all characters depicted are fictional, and well over the age of 18. This is preggo stuff and then some, so if this isn't your thing, wander away- I won't hold you here!
Loading...
Alright, quick comment poll, for the next story up do you guys want to go somewhere hot or somewhere cold? Both will eventually come to light, but I'm trying to prioritize, and thought you all might want a say in that. ;)
